The new version of the Family tent fully follows the Alu-Cab Gen 3R tents with a beveled and slightly backward-rising upper part and side walls highlighted in the front of the tent, now underlining a dynamic and more elegant design that cannot be confused with competing aluminum roof tents.
The shape of the tent in a closed position is aerodynamic, with little wind resistance when riding.
This will have a positive effect on improving the car's driving behavior, especially at higher speeds, as well as reducing aerodynamic noise and, of course, will have a positive effect on the car's fuel consumption.
The tent is standardly equipped with two rows of storage pockets on the sloping wall, a mattress and anti-condensation foam insert, and a passage for the supply of warm air from the hot air heater.
The tent is designed to be walkable and can be used as a platform for photography, realax, etc.
The newly developed telescopic adjustable ladder simply and safely slides into the desired location for tent access.
The ladder is stored in a neat transport bag in the tent before it is completely closed after camping.
The folded ladder takes up almost no space in the tent.

The material from which the tent is made - aluminum, is durable, resistant to corrosion and does not age due to UV radiation, the structure does not suffer from temperature fluctuations.
When traveling truly off-road, you don't have to worry about your tent being damaged by vegetation, especially tree branches and bushes, as well as stones, gravel and sand.
The damage consists at most of scratching or denting the tent, which does not affect its function, unlike laminate tents, where fatal damage can occur and make it impossible to use it further.
Tent fabric maintenance:
Riptech™ tent fabric can be easily cleaned with water, soapy water or (if necessary) a mildew and stain remover (diluted with water in the appropriate ratio depending on the type of product). Be careful not to apply a non-concentrated mildew and stain remover directly to the canvas and then "scrub" the material aggressively. This could destroy the impregnation.
Impregnation:
Waterproofing spray helps keep the waterproofing stable. However, make sure that this spray is suitable for organic materials - tent canvas. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and repeat the process until you achieve the expected result.
Aluminum shell:
To keep the aluminum body of the tent clean, you can simply use car care products and wash the tent.
Use insect remover on the front of the tent after insects and other stubborn dirt have stuck to it, just like you would on your car.
Moving mechanical parts:
Simply use a multi-purpose spray on mechanically moving surfaces to protect them from corrosion. We recommend WD-40, Brunox, etc. products.
Electrical parts:
To keep electrical parts inside and outside the tent protected from moisture and in good working order, treat them with an electrical contact spray.
Tent fabric seams:
Even good seams will wear out over time and can leak moisture. This can be easily fixed by sealing the seams with special tent seam sealants.
Long-term storage of the tent:
If you plan to store your tent for a longer period of time, it is important to prevent moisture condensation inside the closed tent.
1) remove the mattress and store it in a dry place
2) If possible, occasionally air the tent outdoors on a sunny day.
3) When storing the tent in enclosed spaces (garage, hall, barn), open the tent occasionally and ventilate it.
The tent has a sturdy aluminum shell combined with durable Riptech™ canvas fabric and gas struts for easy opening and closing.
The Family tent is equipped with a comfortable 70mm thick mattress and a 3D anti-condensation pad under the mattress.
For storing clothes and small items, the tent has twelve storage pockets, two LED lights, USB and 12V sockets, the possibility of connecting to hot air heating or air conditioning thanks to a transition in the tent fabric and an integrated solar line for connecting solar panels up to 600 W via ANDERSON type connectors.
C-rails with T-slots are located around the perimeter of the tent for attaching a wide range of Alu-Cab accessories (shower enclosure, shovels, spades, etc.).
