The holder of the steel fixed structure is equipped with 30 mm wide rubber equipment holders that ensure its transport without damage even on uneven and unpaved roads. Holders are lockable.
The locks are supplied with 4 keys. In case of loss, you have a spare available.
Alternatively, if your expedition is split up, multiple participants can operate the holders thanks to the number of supplied keys.
In addition, the locks are equipped with caps that prevent water from entering and subsequently freezing.
The mechanism of the holders allows them to be locked in the open state, which gives you the comfort of unloading and loading equipment with both hands.
The width of the slot for storing equipment is 495mm. The holders can hold two pairs of skis or one snowboard or two if the bindings are removed. The height of the holder when closed is 65mm.
Front Runner roof racks can fit two pairs of ski and snowboard holders. You can thus transport four pairs of skis or two snowboards with bindings or four without bindings.
The brackets are intended for flat mounting on the roof rack. If you use an additional set of side brackets RRAC103 (supplied separately and not part of this delivery), you can mount them on the sides of the roof rack and use the upper flat part of the rack with grooves for transporting additional equipment or cargo.
