The shape of the box is adapted to the body of the specified car.
The box has two lids with a "wing" opening system where the hinges are located on the middle crossbar of the box.
Unlike the other type of box for the VW Amarok with a straight top, the D type has a saddle construction.
Thanks to this opening system, the box is accessible from the left and right side of the vehicle.
